On the last day, Sled left and Happy left so me and zaki just roamed around. He bought cat ears (picture not included here) and we got hungry and went to this street kitchen selling REALLY tasty korean food. But it was expensive and the servings where small.

Back inside

Tom Bradley(?) building in LAX where I found wifi, macdonalds, a chinese/japanese restaurant, and even an ice cream stand. It was really comfortable there.

Nice, Spacious, and classy.

But overall I still think LAX is decrepit compared to Memphis or Cincinnati.

I had ramen before leaving~

I got to sit on the emergency exit
I get to bail first and there was plenty of leg space

Cincinnati Intl was very nice

Had the feel of a strip mall but with neat stores and few people since it was morning

And lastly, the shit I bought

I also had 3 posters including one signed by the author of Black Lagoon, and a poster I won at a raffle.

I also got the Hen Tie T-shirt, 3 mangagamer shirts, a Plenair shirt, and an Aksys Games shirt.

Hadn't gone for three years so I didn't expect the significantly less number of booths in the exhibit hall. Hell, The artist gallery was about half that shit. Least I got to talk with the NIS bros about Ar Tonelico 3 and Atelier Totori.

Yea, I only went Friday though just to see Horie, Kitamura, and attend May'n and Nakajima's concert. I went with a friend who was cosplaying as Izaya. We split up half the time because we wanted to do other things.

The booth/panel I was really keen on seeing (and saw I did) during AX 2010 had one of their artists pumping out character portraits for like $20-40 per A4 sized picture. Comes with an autograph too.

Apparently one japanese guy took one back to japan, sold it on Yahoo Auctions... and got nearly $400 for it from bidders...

Bought it for below $50... resold it for $300+

I have an autograph from that guy too haha, but Im never selling it...

No he was already drawing some, but they had fulfilled some requests as well. There was also another guy in there that works with him as an artist.

But what I did was ask him for an autograph on an artbook I brought in with me. Normally they don't do that they said, but they were glad to give an exception.

Now I didn't buy an autographed character portrait cause frankly I thought it was a rip.

But then again, I wanted some of the things he had on display but damn me for being canadian... I didn't have alot of American dollars with me because of the long ass lines on ATM machines.
